PREPARATIONS FOR INTERNAL USE

MORNING TONIC DRINK

This drink is best consumed fresh to ensure the maximum nutritional benefits. However, you can make the vegetable juice in advance without adding the Aloe Vera juice and seasoning and keep it in a refrigerator fo up to eight bours. Before serving, return the vegetable juice to the food processor and blend in the Aloe Vera juice, then season to taste.

Caution: Spinach can be acidic and bell peppers can cause wind if used in excess.

TO MAKE TONIC DRINK
60z(175g) fresh, green raw vegetables
40z(115g) carrots, peeled and chopped
40z(115g) bell peppers, skinned, deseeded and chopped
40z(115g) tomatoes, skinned and chopped
salt and freshly ground black pepper
4 tbsp Aloe Vera juice
  • Wash, trim and chop the green vegetables. Put into a food processor with the other vegetables. Blend until smooth and season to taste. Refrigerator for up to 3 days.
  • Before drinking, stir in the Aloe Vera juice.
Recommended Dosage
Adults: 1 glass one to three times daily. If pregnant or breastfeeding, remember the juice will have a laxative effect, so use it with care.

Children: 7 years and over, adult dose; 3-7 years, half adult dose; 1-3 years, 20 drops morning and evening; younger than 1 year, 10 drops daily.
