The reasons for milk's great popularity lie in its excellent nutritive value in skincare. Milk is pack with protein, beneficial fats, vitamins, amino acids and calcium and is readily absorbed by the skin, resulting in a smooth, hydrated appearance.

A simple way of experiencing milk's benefits is to pour a pint of regular milk into your bath, stir and soak for 10-15 minutes. Your skin will be noticeably softer and smoother, with a dewy sheen. Milk is also an excellent carrier for essential oil (or oil blend) of your choice in 8 ounces of milk.
